About This Fundraiser
This fundraiser benefits Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of Cocker Spaniels and other dogs in need of loving forever homes. This organization does not reject any dog due to age or health reasons and often accept dogs with temperament and / or medical issues.
AACSR relies solely on donations to help pay for the treatment of dogs who are sick, abandoned, or behaviorally challenged.
A proud member of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, AACSR is based in Flushing, New York, and adopts to homes in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
Dolores Rodrigues, AACSR’s founder, became involved in Cocker Spaniel Rescue due to her own deep bond with her late Cocker Spaniel, Rudy. Herself disabled by Multiple Sclerosis, Dolores continues her work in rescue with the help of Joey, her service dog, who is also a rescued Cocker.
We, here at the CoatHook, are happy to be able to help AACSR continue to make a positive difference for hundreds of dogs every year.
About This Product
The CoatHook gathers and removes shedding undercoat fur from cats, dogs, and rabbits without pulling or cutting the outer layers of fur, the way some pet combs do.
The CoatHook’s long tines reach through the outer layer of fur, and the small hooks at the ends of the tines gently but very effectively gather and remove downy shedding undercoat fur.
A series of graduated hooks along the top of the tines can be used to gently tease out tangled fur.
The CoatHook works really well on dogs that have coats that shed, such as Labs, Collies, Shepherds, and mixed breeds, as well as medium-long to long-haired cats.
